These school holidays, visit your Libraries and History House Museum for a range of fun arts and craft activities and a chance to meet the animals.

Bookings for for these activities are essential, phone to secure your place!


Communicare Critters

Come along and make pet rocks and other critter animals from gumnuts, egg cartons and salt ceramics. This session is suitable for primary school aged children. Parents must stay with their children.

Animal Picnic - Barn Babes

Visit the library and see a range of animals such as lambs, goats, chickens, ducks and rabbits. In some cases you will be able to touch and feed these animals.

Sand Wizard

This is a creative, hands-on activity for boys and girls, where you will decorate your own 'Sand Wizard Animal Design', with a rainbow of colours. Limit of 20 Children.

Paint a Teacup

Design and decorate your own tea cup using the History House exhibition 'Tea for Two' as your inspiration. All materials supplied. Firing of the tea cup is to be done in your oven at home. This session is suitable for 8 to 12 year olds only.
